IATI joins Italian development agency’s Day of Transparency

IATI joined the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) at their first virtual Day of Transparency 2020 (22 December). As part of the day, AICS celebrated their commitment to publishing their spending and activities to IATI. The online event hosted a range of senior speakers from the Italian government including Emanuela Claudia Del Re, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

AICS became a member of IATI in 2017 and has published IATI data on over 5200 development and humanitarian projects across nearly 80 countries. The agency invited IATI to promote the importance of improving open data and transparency in the international development and humanitarian sectors and highlight the progress AICS has made.
