iatistandard.org is available in English and French versions to expand global access to information from the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). iatistandard.org was originally created in English and details about accessing content within the French version of the site can be found below.

How can I access iatistandard.org in different languages?

Your web browser should automatically direct you to the version of IATI’s website that is set to your default language (if it is English or French). You can also access the English or French version by using the links that appear on the top-right hand side of each webpage.

What content is available in French?

You can find a range of useful information in French:

  • Information about the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) and the IATI Standard
  • Guidance on how to use and publish IATI data
  • News and events
  • Selected governance documents including Members’ Assembly papers and minutes, and Annual Reports
  • Codelists

What content is not yet available in French?

IATI Reference

Information on all rules and guidance of each version of the IATI Standard is in English only, however French translations of some IATI codelists are available.

Some images that contain text, for example screenshots of external resources maybe available in English only.

Are all documents posted on iatistandard.org available in French?

Most documents, including spreadsheets, presentations and word documents are not translated into French. However, key governance documents that are translated can be accessed by clicking on the links labeled ‘FR’.

Can I access support from the IATI Secretariat in French?

All support provided by IATI Secretariat will be in English only.

What other resources are available in translated versions?

IATI Connect, IATI's community platform is available in over 100 languages. In addition, many videos on IATI's Youtube channel are available in French, Portuguese and Spanish.
