Contact Information

Contact information

There are two elements to provide contact information for an activity: contact-info and activity-website.

The contact-info element contains a series of optional sub-elements providing information about an official contact person for the activity, as in the following example:

Since IATI files are meant to be shared publicly, it is important not to release personal information inappropriately; for example, work email, addresses, and phone numbers should be used to protect personal privacy.  IATI does not require the release of any specific contact information, and in many cases, simply a name and professional email address will be sufficient:
