IATI future hosting arrangements post 2022
Last updated: 10 March 2022
The IATI Governing Board is working with IATI’s Institutional Working Group (IWG) to secure future hosting arrangements for IATI, when the arrangements with the current consortium ends in 2022.
The IWG has worked extensively to develop draft Terms of Reference for the hosting of IATI from 2023 onward which has been reviewed by IATI members. The Board will now move to next steps towards either establishing a new agreement with the current hosts or identifying other potential hosts or partnerships. The TORs are now final (see below), and the current hosts are invited to respond with a proposal within a period of one month, no later than April 8. Given the limited time remaining for the Board in its current composition, their response will be given first consideration before other hosts are identified and bids are solicited.
Once this response is received, a balanced panel of Board and IWG members will review and discuss the response with the current hosts, to determine whether the response fully meets the requirements. If the panel is unable to reach agreement based on the response from current hosts, the process and timeframe will be extended to solicit bids of other potential hosts. The outcome of the assessment of the response of the current hosts will be made available to members for endorsement.
The Board is committed to concluding negotiations in a timely manner so that clarity on next steps in the future hosting can be achieved and announced to all members as quickly as possible.
