From today, publishers may provide their IATI data using the new version 2.01 of the IATI Standard. This follows approval of the new version by the Steering Committee back in October 2014 and a grace period to allow publishers and data consumers to get their applications ready for 2.01 data.
As there are now two versions of the IATI Standard in use, versions 1.x and 2.01, the IATI Standard website has changed to reflect this. Users of the website will now need to select a version of the IATI Standard, or will be redirected to version 2.01 by default.
However, so that anyone who relies on machine reading resources from the website, such as codelists or schema, is not inconvenienced, if they take no action, they will continue to be served the latest resources (schema, codelists, etc.) of the 1.x versions of the IATI Standard. To start to receive resources consistent with version of 2.01 of the IATI Standard, they will need to actively make the change.
If you have any questions about how to publish or use data using version 2.01 please contact the Technical Team via [email protected].
