Australia becomes 4th signatory to publish to IATI

  • Sept. 8, 2011

We are pleased to announce that last Friday Australia published some of its data to the IATI Registry.

Australia is the fourth signatory to publish data in line with IATI, following in the footsteps of the UK’s DFID, the Hewlett Foundation and the World Bank. In the first instance, it is AusAID data being published, which amounts to 87% of their estimated ODA in 2010-11. The remainder is accounted for by 26 other Australian Government Departments.

The publication currently consists of organisational data with links to organisation documents. Project level data is due to be published in October. Going forward, data will be published in September and March every year to cover the periods to June and December respectively.
