IATI’s helpdesk received 1447 enquiries (5294 total e-mail exchanges) between November 2016 and October 2017, with the vast majority requesting help to publish their spending.
Over the past six months, the IATI team has seen a 50% increase in support given to aid, humanitarian and development actors to improve the usability of their published data.
Enquiries came from governments, multilateral organisations, NGOs and private sector organisations who are keen to share and increase the quality of their data to improve decision making and accountability. Requests were also received from those wanting to use the data, and from IATI’s diverse community requesting general information.
This month, IATI’s Technical Team received a 100% satisfaction rating from users of their help desk service.

To-date almost 600 organisations have published data to the IATI Standard and over 700,000 activities relating to aid, humanitarian and development work have been shared online.
