Regional Workshop in West Africa

IATI, in partnership with the African Development Bank, will co-host a regional workshop in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 3–5 June 2025. The workshop will bring together stakeholders from francophone partner countries in West Africa.

Participants will explore ways to improve the quality, accessibility and use of IATI data to better support development planning and coordination at the country level. This event will also have a session on IATI’s Strategic Plan to 2030, to gather regional perspectives on IATI’s future priorities.

Expected Outputs:

✔️Identification of key challenges and opportunities in IATI data use and publication in West Africa

✔️Practical recommendations for improving data quality and accessibility in the region

✔️Stakeholder contributions to inform IATI’s Strategic Plan to 2030

While this workshop is limited to targeted participants from West Africa, IATI looks forward to sharing outcomes and insights from the discussions following the event.
