Nomination period now open
The formal nomination period for the IATI Governing Board Elections 2026 is now open.
Thank you to those members who submitted an Expression of Interest in January 2026. All interested organisations must now submit a formal nomination — including those who previously submitted an Expression of Interest. Eligible members who did not submit an Expression of Interest may also submit a nomination during this period.
IATI Member organisations in good financial standing may submit nominations between 16–27 February 2026. There are two seats available per constituency. Interested candidate organisations must complete and submit a Nomination Form and a signed Code of Conduct Form to the IATI Secretariat at [email protected]. Forms can be downloaded in English, French and Spanish below.
Forms must be received no later than 5pm UTC on Friday 27 February 2026. Late nominations cannot be accepted.
If more than two valid nominations are received within a constituency, an online election will be held in that constituency to determine which two candidates are elected to the Governing Board.
Focused technical seat
There is also one focused technical seat, open to candidates from across the full IATI membership. Nominations for this seat follow the same process as constituency seats. Interested candidate organisations must submit the Nomination Form ensuring Section 8 (Interest in occupying the focused technical seat) is completed, and a signed Code of Conduct Form.
Forms must be emailed to the IATI Secretariat at [email protected] and be received no later than 5pm UTC on Friday 27 February 2026.
Late nominations cannot be accepted. If more than one valid nomination is received for the technical seat, an online election will be held. If only one valid nomination is received, that candidate will be confirmed without the need for voting.
In line with SOP Annex 1.1.2, members are encouraged to consider the importance of diversity in the composition of the Board, including but not limited to gender, regional and linguistic diversity.
