The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) has launched a survey to better understand how IATI data is being used to address poverty and crises. The new Data Use Survey aims to understand how IATI can effectively meet the needs of both users and publishers of development and humanitarian data on resources and results.

The survey forms the next step in the process to develop a new Strategic Plan (2019-22), following IATI's recent online consultation. IATI’s Strategic Plan consultation attracted more than 190 comments from 96 countries, representing government, civil society, the private sector, academia, think tanks and others.
Many thanks to all IATI stakeholders who contributed their views to the consultation and we look forward to receiving your responses to the Data Use Survey.
The survey closes on Friday 15 March and we encourage you to share the survey widely with your networks. Questions on the Data Use Survey can be directed to the IATI Secretariat at [email protected].
