Transparency champions, rejoice! A new Speakers’ Kit, now available on the IATI website, makes it easier for IATI proponents to explain and promote the standard to a range of audiences.
The kit includes:
- Two scripted PowerPoint presentations– one a general introduction to IATI, the other a technical overview primarily intended for publishers (these are also available as narrated presentations on the IATI Videos Youtube Channel);
- A set of speaking notes, with guidance for presenting IATI in formats ranging from one-line elevator pitches to more comprehensive presentations;
- A simple two-page introductionto IATI, with illustrations and updating guidelines; and
- Answers to FAQs.
With this set of presentation materials, what can sometimes be elusive concepts to break down – the whats, whys and, above all, the hows of IATI – are brought into clearer focus. Texts can be adjusted to fit various contexts, timeframes, and degrees of audience familiarity with the transparency movement in development cooperation.
The IATI Speakers’ Kit is available for download here.
