New Data Use Fund opportunity

  • May 17, 2019

The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) has launched another funding opportunity under the Data Use Fund. This opportunity focuses on IATI awareness-raising. You are invited to submit your proposals to the opportunity below:

Theme 1: IATI Awareness Raising

IATI is inviting service providers from the CSO and private sector community to submit innovative ideas for small-scale projects that increase the visibility of IATI and promote data use among a variety of stakeholders, including government officials, civil society, media and academia. The objective is to showcase the broad spectrum of information that is contained in IATI’s data and highlight different options and scenarios for IATI data use. Activities can include, but are not limited to; workshops, training events and other capacity development activities, information campaigns, development of IATI information and guidance material for a specific purpose, or piloting initiatives on how to use IATI data for reporting, planning or monitoring purposes.

This time we are especially seeking proposals for activities to be implemented in the following countries – Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo, Congo (DR), Dominican Republic, Guinea, Honduras, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Sao Tome and Principe, and Yemen. We are, however, also open to reviewing project proposals targeting other countries if there is a compelling argument for such a case.

For further information, please take a look at previous IATI awareness-raising activities which have been funded by the Data Use Fund:

The deadline for receipt of IATI awareness raising proposals is 2 June 2019.

UNDP and IATI are looking forward to receiving innovative and detailed proposals. Please do not hesitate to contact us: [email protected] with any questions and suggestions regarding the IATI Data Use Fund and the published Request for Proposal.
