IATI’s new governance arrangements

IATI’s new governance arrangements come into force today (1st April 2016) which include the creation of a new Members’ Assembly that replaces the Steering Committee.

IATI’s new governance arrangements were recommended in an evaluation of IATI in 2015 and agreed at the Steering Committee meeting in December.

As part of the new governance structure, a Governing Board was also established in March 2016 by a month long process of consultation and nomination with IATI members. The Board’s new representatives elected IATI’s new Chair, Vice-Chair by consensus, at their first meeting on 29th March.
