The number of development and humanitarian activities reported to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) has now exceeded one million.
This milestone marks tremendous progress in aid transparency since the first organisation (UK’s Department for International Development) began publishing details on their spending in 2011. Since then, more than 600 governments, multilateral organisations, NGOs, foundations, private sector and development finance institutions have reported information to IATI’s data Standard.
IATI data can be explored easily using d-portal.org. Search for a wide a range of information including spending, results and locations on development and humanitarian activities.
CSV map download
IATI is demonstrating d-portal’s new CSV map download feature at the Global Partnership for Sustainable Data Festival (Bristol, 22-23 March). The new function allows users to download coordinates of the location of activities into a csv file.
