Bond are first NGO platform to publish to IATI

Last week Bond became the first NGO platform to publish to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).

Bond is a UK membership body for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) working in international development. With 358 NGO members, the Bond network provides support for those working in the sector and strengthens the effectiveness of its work through the exchange of experience, information and ideas.

Bond’s initial publication of data to IATI covers their current work funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).  A second wave of publication, which will cover all data relating to their work, will be released to the IATI standard in March 2013.

Bond have been working with their members to help them comply with the IATI standard. You can view Bond’s data in the IATI registry and read up on their open information policy on their website.
