Publishing your data files
Find out how to publish your data files without access restrictions.
Once your XML data files are prepared, upload them to an online location that is publicly accessible. This allows you to link to them from the IATI Registry.
The IATI Registry does not host your data—it provides links to where your data is stored, along with descriptions of the content. You can store your files on your own website, a server, or use a third-party hosting service.
Wherever you choose, your data must be openly accessible, without passwords or other access restrictions. Your organisation remains responsible for its own data.
Linking your files to the IATI Registry
- If you have fewer than five data files, log in to the IATI Registry and select Data - Register from the blue menu bar. Complete the form for each data file individually.
- If you’re publishing five or more files, use the CSV upload option. Log in, select Data - Upload CSV file , download the template, follow the guidance to fill it in, and upload your completed CSV.
Removing your IATI data files
If you need to remove your data for security or privacy reasons, please follow our Data removal guidance.
