Members’ Assembly & Community Exchange 2025

IATI is hosting the 2025 Members’ Assembly and Community Exchange in Nairobi, Kenya. This is our flagship annual gathering that brings together the global IATI community to connect, share experiences, and explore how open data can drive more effective development and humanitarian action.

Event overview

The meeting will take place over two days:

• Wednesday 26 November – IATI Members’ Assembly (open to IATI Members only – (see IATI Members list)
  
• Thursday 27 November – Community Exchange (open to all)

Both events are free to attend.

Languages

• Interpretation will be available in English, French, and Spanish.
  

Participation arrangements

Registration for the IATI Members’ Assembly and Community Exchange 2025 is now closed. We are delighted with the strong response from members and community participants.

Participation arrangements:

• Travel funding: Applicants for funding support will be informed about whether their application has been successful.
  
• Remote participation: Options will be available for those wishing to access the meeting virtually.

Visa requirements

We encourage all participants to check visa requirements for entry into Kenya early. If you require an invitation letter, please contact the IATI Secretariat.

Caucus Meetings (pre- Members’ Assembly and Community Exchange)

All members are invited to join their respective caucus meeting to discuss the Members’ Assembly agenda and prepare for the meeting.

The full Members’ Assembly papers will be circulated by Wednesday, 12 November, including the final draft of the IATI Strategic Plan 2026–2030. Members are reminded that the first draft of the Strategic Plan has already been shared for review and input by 31 October, and feedback received will be reflected in the final draft.

Members have been sent registration emails for the virtual caucus meetings, which will be held over Zoom.
