IATI’s Members’ Assembly 2016

The first meeting of IATI’s newly formed Members’ Assembly begins today at UN City, Copenhagen. Government and multilateral donors, partner countries, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), and private sector organisations will participate in a two-day meeting.

Key decisions on IATI’s future will be made by the Members’ Assembly, including on a new vision, mission and strategy for the initiative. Members will also be updated on IATI’s recent activities and hear experiences on publishing and using IATI data from organisations across the membership.

IATI’s Members’ Assembly was established in April as part of new governance arrangements agreed at IATI’s former Steering Committee meeting in December 2015. The Members’ Assembly (which replaces the Steering Committee) is formed of all members of IATI, which this year reached over 70 organisations.
