The Africa Open Data and Internet Research Foundation is hosting the African Geospatial Data and Internet Conference 2019 (22-24 October, Accra).
The Africa Geospatial Data and Internet Conference (AGDIC) aims to bring people together from various stakeholder groups to discuss public policy issues relating to geospatial, open data, ICT and the internet in Africa. The conference will seek to inform and inspire those with policy-making powers across sectors in Africa to discuss, exchange information and share good practices with each other. AGDIC aims to facilitate a common understanding of how to maximise opportunities relating to geospatial technology, ICTs and the internet in Africa and address risks and challenges that may arise.
The Africa Geospatial Data and Internet Conference (AGDIC) will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana.
